Madeira Beach Publix - 1/7/2016. After waiting our turn in check out line, employees became confused over a coupon (six pack or eight pack of cokes) and instead of resolving the issue, employee moved us out of the line and continued to process other customers while we waited, and waited until we finally had to go to customer service for resolution and return the products we intended to purchase.

Other customers were given priority to check out and leave because the Publix employee did not want to resolve our coupon issue and asked us to stand aside and wait more while she attended to the people behind us in line. Fifteen minutes later, we were finally able to pay and leave without our cokes.

Because they are not manager management need lots of training they sit on ads look on computer all day .if employees can't solve that problem no one can.line leader don't know nothing but only follow you see what your doing other than what there doing.if you have line leader stand behind employees there in jail Environment.Go to other store please


We have the chance to save the order for something like this. In this case I would also save your order and put it off to the side if I couldn't wave down front office staff.

While we would like to help you as fast as we can, we cannot let our lines come to an halt over something that would probably require numbers which cashiers do not have. Don't take as an insult but merely something cashiers are trained to do in order to maintain our lines.


Simple. You can not hold up the line.

How would YOU like to be the one in the long line waiting for someone to figure out their coupon? It is smart to move a problem out of the checkout and take other customers while someone gets your issue resolved.
