Humiliated because of Certegy and I have been a very happy Publix shopper for years.

After years of wonderful service, I was declined at checkout because of Certegy. I had changed to Launch and had a low number check. $207.00 worth of groceries in my cart and Publix acted on info from Certegy. Humiliated beyond words. The line in my aisle was getting longer and longer. I had thousands of dollars in the bank. I havent been back to Publix, which I love, since that happened. Most people have no clue about Certegy and I barely even heard the word but I have since researched them.

User's recommendation: Take cash because Certegy controls if your card will be taken. Never use a low number check which was my mistake. Had I not loved all the cashiers at Publix, I would have left everything for them to put up.

Apology to my husband and I, but that won’t remove the humiliation I experienced when I was there. I had $200 in cash and gave the cashier the cash. So, they only had to remove a few items. I was mortified.

No Masks

On the 26th of Feb. I went o Publix on Hills. and Habana Ave in Tampa Fla. It has been my favorite store for 10 yrs or better. A man walked in without a mask and not one word was said, I asked the clerk bout it and he said it wasn't law, so he couldn't say anything about it. Like i said it has been my favorite store for years, but if Publix dosen't care about their customers, I have shopped my last at Publix.

User's recommendation: Quit shopping at Publix if you don't want the Corona.

Customer Service - COVID

To date, my experience with attempting to schedule a vaccination has been akin to a root canal sans novocaine, that changed with a visit to Oakbridge...Michael and Joanne were incredibly helpful and, even though I had no appointment, there was a cancellation and I was scheduled and vaccinated....granted they had no control over the cancellation, but their customer service was impeccable and they deserve a little something extra in their check!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All is well

All about vaccine appointments. It was a corona website problem and not Publix. All is well, me and my wife were able to make appointments and get our shots!

I have shopped at Publix all of my life! I was so excited when they started letting the employees shop for me so I dont have to go into the store. I know the employees and trust them doing my shopping. Last week, I tried Instacart. I DO NOT like outsiders coming in and doing my shopping and I had to go back to the store twice for missing items. That completely defeated not having to go into a brick and mortar. Im very disappointed.

Critique of Customer Service

Actually, I wanted to let you know how good I think your organization is. The place is clean always. The people who work there are super. I do have a couple of minor suggestions which I am certain are covered in your training. When you ask customers if they would like groceries carried to your car. DO NOT INSIST. Ask once and that is it. Second, checkers should try to avoid comments on what people are buying.

Flu shot appointment

My husband and I went to our regular Publix Tuesday to get the flu shot. When we got there after standing in line for about 10 minutes they told us that it was by appointment only starting that Monday. We are senior citizens and we had traveled there to get the flu shot and told them it was hard for us to make another visit back, hoping they would take that into consideration but they didnt. She told me to go online and fill out an appointment application and that it was easy to do. I can tell you it was not easy. It may be easy for somebody that is computer savvy but not for us. We never got a confirmation that we had an appointment so I tried calling the store and the pharmacy never answered so we didnt know for sure if we had an appointment or not. We went the next Thursday the day we had our appointment for we hoped and finally got our flu shot but it was a hassle and it didnt need to be that way. They had signs up saying flu shot but never had anything saying by appointment only outside or inside the store.

User's recommendation: Don’t stand in line behind everybody just go up to the counter and ask them are they giving flu shots to make sure you don’t stand there and waste your time.

The staff there are so helpful

The staff there are so helpful. I had to fax paperwork and was running late for an appointment. The clerk offered to take a picture of the confirmation page and text it to me instead of waiting for the fax to complete. Unsolicited request. Theyre always finding ways to exceed the customers expectation

Publix flu shot for employees

Today I when to have my flu shot, because I'm 65 yrs old they wanted my medicare card, because it's a different shot why do Medicare have to pay for this shot and I have work here thirteen yrs and always had it for free all those yrs, this is not fair for publix to do this to there senior that works here. Shame on you publix.

Name: Thomas Carter tjay1115@***.com Publix -595 Piedmont Ave. NE I went to the Publix at 5:30 today and I purchase one item ( ice cream). I was standing in line and inadvertently. stepped in front of a customer that I didn't see due to social distancing. The manager. whose name was Joshua saw what happened. and immediately "ordered" to another line. I moved to another line. There was a white gentleman behind me. Joshua made a point to ask that gentleman to his lane (which I thought he was closing). This gentleman had at least four items. I just feel that I was disrespected and the way I was spoken to was inappropriate, especially from a manager. Joshua started waiting on other customers while I was still in the other line. I felt like he was doing this out of spite.
