Publix was absolutely the worst place I have ever worked. I think they are hiding the true displacement of financials from the public and employees.

I think they will close some stores and consolidate just like Winn Dixie. I wouldn't work there to save my skin..

I am a bagger at Publix. I live in Lake county Florida. I started out in the deli a year ago and didn't make it. I have done everything I was trained and told to do yet I still have three on the borderline of satisfactory scores. The store manager does not even want to...

I am a former PUBLIX employee. I have seen several changes since being employed.

It seems the baggers/service personnel are trained different. I was trained keeping the cold and dry separate, but now you have to search for your groceries.

What are your rules if you have tattoes or earrings (males)? Does this apply to all stores?

Its changes that I seen.

LMAO! Are you seriously suggesting this Kevin didn't greet you because you are so good-looking?

I bet you look like a cross between Rosie O'Donnell and Kathy Griffin and he just wanted you out of his line and out of his sight as soon as possible. Next trip to a store: buy a full-length mirror.

Good job surviving breast cancer there chief. Do you want a cookie or a ribbon?

I'll have a "#1 breast cancer survivor" ribbon made for you and sent your way if you'd like. Poor customer service experience? Sure, vent it out and let someone know. Breast cancer survivor?

We don't care because it does nothing to change the situation. If you truly believe that you deserve some special treatment that others who have survived physical and mental ordeals during their lives do not, please have "BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR!" tattooed on your forehead for easy identification.

Thanks,

ANOTHER BREAST AND LUNG CANCER SURVIVOR!

when the shelf price didn't match the register price, I told the cashier and she said: "don't worry it'll come out in the end." - It didn't - now the FBI has to be called in to figure out why not while everyone in line sits and waits. - Publix knows about this gap...

Your a *** ***. How do figure publix is making profit off of an incorrectly marked item?

People make mistakes! Gasp! And the world is not out to steal your money. Publix is run by PEOPLE not computers lol!!!

Every item on the shelf must be scanned in with this little magic gun that tells the registers what the price is upon checkout! Omg! No waaay!!! Then, when the register goes beep, and the wrong price comes up yes as you so eloquently put it the FBI must come check into it because that is the supervisors job.

Then guess what *** If the price is indeed wrong and not your half witted brain playing tricks on you, you get that item for free!!! You know what people like you make me *** sick. Turn on the *** tv look at real problems of the world, not your little insignificant issues.

Don't shop at publix then. Whiney ***

I'm a Publix cashier. I'm 16 years old. I'm human and I wish people would take the time to analyze and understand that. Being human, I have good and bad days. On a bad day, the last thing that I want is someone expecting me to be a robot. I don't put prices on the...

Not just old people need help putting groceries in their carts. Some people are disabled, and you may not know it by sight.

You don't have to have an arm missing to be disabled. Some people have injuries that flair up when lifting grocery bags, and they don't always have the luxury of having someone come along and help, and they still need food. Customer service should not be sacrificed when most of the lines are empty, and speed should not be a factor. When is it bad to go the extra mile when you can.

Not everyone is being lazy just because they need help.

Think of it this way, if you treat a customer poorly, the customer quits going to your store, eventually your store closes, and you have no job. It doesn't hurt to be customer friendly when you can, to go the extra mile to keep customers coming back.
