I have spoken with numerous employees in the Deli Department which I have visited (sparingly). UNRESPONSIVE MANAGEMENT (Deli Manager AND Store Manger) have "OVERLOOKED" REPEATED REPORTS OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT and Retribution for whistle blowing is POLICY. A Male Deli employee frequently "rubs against" and "unnecessarily touches" female employees, however much they verbally try to keep his hands off them. When management approached, NOTHING is changed. perpetrator is NEVER disciplined. Would you like your wife, girlfriend, daughter or mother to work with him?

Although rules are perpetually quoted whenever long-term employees have requested time off, certain exceptions are made for "preferred employees." At the peak of the December holiday season, a certain employee was given three weeks off. Other employees are declined any time off even after they helped with a "Grand Re-0pening" which was Publix driving away the competition by means other than "shopping as a pressure.'

Vero Beach Treasure Coast PUBLIX is a detriment to our health, our budgets and illegally cruel to employees. (see other note)

You are right, Publix at Miracle Mile is a danger to people in the community. There is blatant discrimination, Russ Reaver the district manager makes a mockery of discrimination complaints, and is one of the worst pin heads you'll ever meet.

This Treasure Coast Plaza store is riddled with incompetence, unsanitary food conditions, and dangerous employees. The store manager there is extremely trashy, yet thinks he something special.

Because we are encouraged to NOT make these things public, GO CALL as a costumer please!! Managers hide these numbers, and right to call them from us!!

They always discourage us defending ourselves, and tell us that management will take care of it, please call, please help us Many times people are new employees who DONT KNOW THEIR RIGHTS!

Because publix hides this fromt heir employees!

if in lakeland division call mike abrams human resources he will take care of it but being a female manager at a store ran by a female bakery and deli ran both by female manager and assistant i find it hard to believe. why is she still there putting up with it

I happen to be a female that works for this wonderful company and let me tell you, no one has ever tried to stop me from advancing just because I am a women. YOU ARE PATHETIC.

What about the bullying and abuse. I fell and the manager blamed it on me.

I had new safety shoes on too. Luckily, i was ok.An employee was stalking another employee and management did nothing but walk her to her car.

My sister works at a Publix store and has been the victim of glass ceiling in the workplace for over six months. She has been employed by Publix for several years and has never experienced discrimination like THIS!

It is a shame that Publix, which claims to have the utmost respect for its employees, would allow male managers to make it impossible for women to advance into higher paying positions. My sister has never received a negative evaluation in all her years working for Publix stores. This manager is a BIGOT and does not reflect the values of an employee owned business. My sister is afraid of retribution for whistle-blowing.

She has no need to worry I am going to file a lawsuit on her behalf.

I am sure their are other women at her store who have suffered at the hands of this chauvenistic manager. Does Class-Action Lawsuit sound disgruntled enough for you?

who ever wrote this is obviously a dis-gruntled employee, I know many of the employees at this location and they would never take it upon themselves to confide any nonsense like this. I have always received the utmost professional and courteous service while shopping at this store.
