My wife bought a container of 'crab meat' from Publix in North Naples, off Immokalee near the Strand yesterday. She was making homemade pasta stuffed with crab meat, etc. The crab meat smelled quite 'fishy' when cooking, and was basically inedible when tasting, even...

According to my local fish market owner, crabmeat is caught here and shipped to either the Phillipines or China to be processed. Apparently this is a fairly recent event.

I have recently bought 2 separate cans of Chicken of the Sea Crabmeat that smelled like a sewer.

The expiration date was more than a year out. Read the label and make sure it comes from the U.S..

I have been shopping at Publix since my parents first moved to Florida in 1972. Back then, we went every Saturday morning with our mother for the family groceries. When I moved away from my parents and attended college in Florida, my friends and I always shopped at...

This is the first time I have ever posted a comment on any page but just left Publix in Haines City and I am so mad I could spit nails! While waiting (and waiting) at the deli counter the deli manger of all people waits on customers out of turn.

I brought it too her attention and she started arguing with me!

Look I realize that there are bigger problems in the world than my deli order but this is an issue that continues to happen and I did not appreciate the way Mercy (the deli manager) handled the complaint. I agree with you time to change were I shop.

I busted my wife and her boss having an affair. He even had her transferred to another store to prevent himself from getting in trouble. I'm waiting for the right time to slam him with the evidence I have. Thanks for phone records and PI work. The sad thing is it...

The same thing went on with my wife while working as a checker she was also having an affair with the district manager, apparently in the store as she was to report to work at 5 a.m. when only he and her were there.

Publix in Clearwater, Florida - I have to print coupons from website

Really in this day and age I have to install their coupon printer package and print coupons to use at store. Almost every other grocery store sends coupons to your smart phone and lets you show your phone to the cashier. Publix IT told me they didn't have that technology. BS I think the coupon installer is actually tracking what you buy. Oh by the way, recommend a minimum of 100 words is RECOMMEND not REQUIRE. If you require it, say require not recommend. If I am able to address my complaint in under a 100 words you should still accept it.

You probably think President Obama was born in Kenya too.

And what store do you just have to show the cashier your phone? You sure you weren't watching Fringe?

Publix in Tampa, Florida - Pharmacy exorbitant prices

Publix priced my prescription for Levaquin 500 mg, 5 pills $72 - exorbitant!!. Because I looked shocked the pharmacist explained that this is a strong antibiotic, hence the price. St Mary Pharmacy on West Bay in Largo charged $10 for the same presciption. Another antibiotic, Z -pack for 5 day supply,Publix, $35, St Mary, $6. Yet they have the nerve to plaster all over their stores "Love to shop here, Love to save" Since I'm sure St Mary isn't losing money, it means Publix is charging 350% to 720% higher than retail price. They're swindeling millions of customers in Florida and yet no one is suing them and the media are not reporting this!

Every pharmacy has higher and lower prices than each other. One might have a med cheaper than another, then have one higher.

Take Walmart: generics $4, and other pharmacies charge up to $100 for the same drugs. However, those pharmacies may have a cheaper price on a med that Walmart charges higher.

Humulin insulin is $25 at Walmart, it is $75 at Publix.

Kmart offers antibiotics for free, they can be over $100 at other stores. Each one has their own specials.

It's a retail pharmacy. If you don't like the price then go someplace else.

You can't sue them if they decide to start charging $9 a gallon for milk. Exercise your free will and gas pedal foot...

not your fingers. If complaining lowered prices then everything would be free.

Publix products are not all good

Publix is where we buy many of our groceries, along with Wal-Mart, Aldi (awful frozen stuff), and even Big Lots, and we generally trust the Publix brands. One exception is the garlic bread. This stuff has nowhere near the butter and garlic that the brand names do. Small complaint, maybe, but buy brand names on that particular item. Oh, really, my review only has 59 characters, so I have to expand it to meet the *** *** requirements of this site so that my freely offered review gets posted on this *** *** review site? How about this? Blow me. This is *** ***. Why do I need to come up with a hundred characters to state a pretty *** simple review. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Yet another IT Delivery manager has a run in with someone under him and what happens, the manager physically attacks the associate. What happened to the manager?

Well all that has happened so far is that he was demoted.

Why wasn't this manager fired on the spot? This really shows you how upper management works at this company.
