The publix on west Atlantic avenue in delray at delray square is the worst. It is obvious that an employee named Mary is disgruntled and unhappy. She is so rude to the customers. I will not spend another penny in any publix. So sad but there is walmart, trader joes, fresh market and Winn dixie and I will shop at those stores .

RE: Tony Boyd

ny, always takes the time to say hello and asks if every thing is ok. And a nice hug does nt hurt either. The world needs more people like Tony some one who makes you feel like you matter unlike so many other stores. As we get older a lot of the time we feel as we are invisable, but that is not the case with Tony, he always make you feel like you are some one special and worthy of his time. Thank you Tony Boyd for making me feel so much better after I leave your store.. God Bless you and your family.

Civil rights violations

To Tuesday, December 16, 2013United States Senator Bill NelsonLandmark Two225 East Robinson Street, Suite 410Orlando, FL 32801(4**) **2-7161(4**) **2-7165 Fax

Dear Senator Nelson & Staff

Lisa,

Hi this letter is not really for Senator Nelson’s office to do anything with other than to be made aware of the situation at hand. I was going to give a copy of my Social Security Impairment cd to Publix Grocery Store Corporate Headquarters but, and this is snide, after what has occurred over the years where people say I do one thing and something else has actually occurred and have gotten law enforcement whether local or Federal involved and blatantly allowed false accusations to arise in the form of either Trespass Warnings or alleged criminal charges appear.

I am getting tired of "IDIOTS" misinterpreting what I say when I say something but unlike what the gentleman who evaluated me specifically said about notbeing able to have or hold a complete thought. That specificity about my individualism is different when I can take the time to gather my thoughts via an outline and extrapolate or elucidate them in the form of a letter such as this.

Police Officers have a hard enough job as it is but and however when they base any form of charge or warning on the fact as an alpha dog (at least that is what he described himself as at the North Port Police Department) on the fact that they have never taken the time to find out the true story with me. All they and many other companies and agencies do is blatantly utilize the badge and gun to violate my Civil Rights and the ADA.

I can if necessary send you what I sent to the DOJ >Criminal Rights Division ADA alleged violations and potential criminal acts< and FDLE concerning the violations of all of my rights and my wife Maria Del Pilar Sanabria-Levitin. This almost constitutes a "HATE" crime as my disability is distinct in the fact that my personality, behavior, actions, and vulgar language are inseparable from each other. A hate crime is when you attack a specific caste of society of which I am in all by my lonesome. Call it "KISMET" that when they classified me this way at Social Security but as I said in the letter that I sent to you on December 15, 2013, I, most likely am the only person specifically classified this way which makes any form of attack directed at me the literal definition of a "HATE CRIME".

Now to the heart of the matter of which I am not asking for any form of direct intervention on behalf of Senator Nelsons’ office, Lisa, even though I think you might personally be aghast that this continuously occurs to me especially how it relates to PUBLIX. I am going to paste below what I wrote on a Google review over a week ago. The website where you can find the review is at:https://plus.google.com/113424****0431069****/about:

Review Publix Super Market at Heron Creek Towne Center1291 S Sumter Blvd, North Port, FL 34287Hated itI have impairment code 2940 which among other things is a combination of Tourettes and Aspergers syndrome and Social Security (SS) has tied in my personality, my actions , and my behavior to my disability which is protected by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Whether it is agreed on or not by the general populace, when you violate my civil rights while on disability you can be charged with a hate crime as it goes towards a caste of society since I have a distinct succinct disability wherein my situation I am the only one with this disability. Carol Crow?, one of the managers(941) 426-**** violated my civil rights when then the advent of the Aspergers and Tourettes part of my disability comes out.

I tried to tell her that I have the specific disability written above and when I told her that I never have used vulgarity with her due to the Tourettes Syndrome she responded before I could say anything else are you threatening me? How stupid can any person be especially when I told Carol three times that I have that disability, her response was she did not know from any disability and she said I was making it all up. At that point she called the police on me to trespass me from the store after she purposely went out of her way to antagonize me and accelerate my lack of social interaction per the Aspergers syndrome which is part of my protected ADA rights.

Lisa, I have been in contact with Publix headquarters and their assistant to their chief legal Counsel Jennifer? Who is a Paralegal and has a Bachelors degree. She was also aghast when I first started talking to her about problems with their stores prior to getting trespassed but eventually she was told to back off by their upper level management and none of the situations that I have substantiated proof of were taken care of.

Lisa, as I said my impairment code of 2940 per Social Security is real. And my sub-classification of subsection >312.34 – Intermittent Explosive Disorder< are legitimately part of my disability of which you have a copy of my SS CD and proof thereof. I will not allow Publix or anyone else to violate my civil rights in the process of me shopping there. Any firm has the right to ask law enforcement to trespass anyone from their establishment but they cannot base their decision for said action on any person’s disability. Rudeness, crudeness, vulgar words, denigration, condescension, belligerence, obnoxiousness, abrasiveness, sarcastic and facetious are but a few of the characteristics of the disability, all documented in the CD.

I am in process of letting the world know anytime I talk to anyone as I start the conversation out I specifically tell them that I have impairment code 2940 with a brief description of what it is since Mark Alexander Secret Service Agent >Tampa FL Field Office 813.228.2636< has told me to because my disability is not visible, people must have knowledge of it in order for me to sue them. I had no intention of suing anyone, as that is not my nature. My nature is finding people that are in government that acknowledge that "PEOPLE" are insecure or otherwise are what staff these companies or agencies and bring whatever inadequacies to their attention so they are aware of what has transpired to potentially prevent it from occurring all over again.

I do not feel comfortable with anyone at the "GREAT PUBLIX" having access to my SS CD, but I do feel comfortable in having you, Lisa. Please be available to talk to anyone at Publix that is identifiable about my interactions with you at Senator Nelsons office and what is on my SS CD. Until what occurred at Publix with Carol Crow, I thought that the company was a great company.

Final note I am contacting the Criminal rights division of the DOJ about a potential hate crime concerning Publix, the North Port Police Department, and other companies, and agencies. The police cannot say we did not know, as they do not allow us ignorance of the law when they are investigating anything. They have a tough job, but they are not going to walk on me in the process of doing their job.

I, Andrew Marc Levitin, have an United States Social Security Disability

antagonistic outbursts which as the term intermittent means at any possible

time wherein undue pressure is given due to real or perceived provocation. I

may say something inappropriate, but that is documented as part of my US

Social Security Disability, and it is not to be inferred as a danger to an

and unless I need specific help and ask for it, to not instigate a situation with

me. Otherwise, you are in violation of the ADA and violate my Civil Rights

You can believe anything you want since you are an American Citizen but you

will not violate my Reasonable Accommodation Request and direct your lack of

This dude has been arrested before for making lewd and threatening calls. He calls around trying to get people upset with him by screaming at them and calling them pedofiles, then tries to sue when they don't put up with his nonsense.

He's like Tourette's guy sans the whimsy. Call the police on him as soon as you see him.

This loser calls and harasses people and can't get along with anyone in life and hides behind an alleged disability. In reality, there are hundreds of thousands of these losers walking amongst us and breeding!!

He doesn't have the right to harass people and should be on heavy medication and daily professional counseling. The clinical term for his condition is BONKERS. Go ahead and subpoena my IP address. What are you 5?

Tricky little site you have here. It took six attempts to screen shot the following:

Your comment will appear on the site as soon as it is reviewed by our moderation team. I told you you picked on the wrong side to fight. Like I said on my blog ibelieveintheada2013.blogspot.com of which BTW the "Moderation Team *** at Pisssed.Consumer.com" that page unlike yours cannot be hijacked by Ninjas

404: Looks like ninjas stole this page

Other things to try:

· Go to www.pissedconsumer.com

· Search www.pissedconsumer.com: What, didn't you think with this disability I keep good God *** records on everything. So getting back to an excerpt of one of my entries on my blog below: I am getting tired of *** like you that like to think living in the USA is a CARTE Blanche situation with no strings attached and the only way I am ever going to get equality is to stand up for myself and any others that are similar to me and fight for their rights against the *** like you. What got no snappy things to say anymore? As for the license to practice law, one step at a time, First with this disability is not to be discriminated against by the law school, then to get the degree, I have actually pass the classes and when that is in place then I will look at getting the license to practice. Psych Eval, you thought I was *** up now. Just wait until I get the license which at that point I become an officer of the court and I will quote what came off of the movie 48 Hours: "Redneck: What kind of cop are you? Reggie: You know what I am? I'm your worst ***' nightmare, man. I'm a *** with a badge which means I got permission to kick your ***' *** whenever I feel like it!" Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeester Alleged Bob Saget go about your life, earn a lot of money, accumulate wealth as if you are still around with everything remember that once there is a prima facie case for that spot where I said that the "ADA specifically doesn't state that there is or isn't a statute of limitations on what you did with me, when and if I have the license I will be looking to see you personally in court and not just through my attorney." No animosity just a fact. BTW you are right about Smegal might be a good likeness. Now back to the moderation team at Pissed Consumer dot com. what i siad to the alleged Bob Saget now applies to you: "go about your life, earn a lot of money, accumulate wealth as if you are still around with everything remember that once there is a prima facie case for that spot where I said that the "ADA specifically doesn't state that there is or isn't a statute of limitations on what you did with me, when and if I have the license I will be looking to see you personally in court and not just through my attorney."" Copy of this sent to my attorney. Got to keep good records. Ciao

I shop at Publix store #0550 at Kendall Drive and S.W. 107th Avenue Here in Miami, Florida. I have been shopping at this store for sometime and I have never had a bad experience. Everyone who work's at this store is so pleasant and helpful and if a problem does occur, it is always solved quickly and professionally. It is a real pleasure to shop here. I wish that other stores would follow their example in customer service. They have made me feel so comfortable shopping here, that I have no desire to do my grocery shopping anywhere else. I can't thank them enough.

Publix brand Lump Crabmeat

I purchased 3 8oz containers of publix brand lump crabmeat. I believe it was 12.99 or 15.99 per container to make she crab soup.

After the soup was made it the recipe said divide the crabmeat into bowls. Thankfully I didn't add it to the soup. I opened it p and it smelled worse than rotten eggs, I tasted it and it tasted just as bad. I double checked the expiration date and it said May 2015.

I cant imagine it would keep that long. Anyway , I even tried rinsing it in a colander but it was still the same. I put it back in the container and it is going right back to Publix and I expect a refund.

I would advise everyone to get fresh and never buy this crabmeat from publix ever. I am sure that if someone ate it they would get very sick.

Publix does sell lump crab meat in the seafood section in plastic containers and they do have a long life. Mine was perfect and I followed the lump crab cake recipe for cakes and sauce and both were delicious.

I added a little extra green onions and onions to my sauce and it was great.

Highly recommend. I liked the lump crab meat much better than the smaller pieces of crab meat in a cheaper container.

Guest

Why would buy buy crab meat that’s 3 years out of exploration date ? You’re faut not reading the label. 3 years on fresh seafood what you can’t read

Publix does not have canned crab meat under their private label.

I have really had it with the Deli manager at the Groveland, florida store. She has on more than one occasion snipped me off, and I had been nothing but polite and patient at a busy counter.

Today she passed me off to another emplyee to help someone else. Take your attitude and leave it at home Jeanette. You are the MANAGER.. I will not approach that counter again if you are behind it.

I shop there 3or 4 times a week, and am sick of feeling like i'm troub;ling you to cut some *** meat and cheese.

Publix pharmacy Mableton, Ga

A pharmacy clerk was very rude to me when I asked her to verify the price of a prescription I was picking up. When I asked other friends of mine who were waited on by her, they had the same impression that she was short and rude. Since the pharmacy was available in the store and convenient they chose to continue. This person and the pharmacy manager knows who she is should be retrained or moved to another position where she does not deal with the public. It my suggestion to Publix to hire individuals who are customer friendly and candela with the their customers in a manner for the customer to want to return.

Worse than Walmart

On my day off my manager calls me up to talk to me about a "problem" he had with me leaving early. I've discussed and reminded him many times that my vehicle was in the shop and I had to be picked up at a certain time or I'd be here till 2.5 hours after the *** store closes before my ride can get me again. He proceeded to talk to me like a child, I'm already making less than new hires and doing more than my fair share of the work and he pulls this ***. Oh and I was on the phone with my dying father at the time also and when I told him he said he can wait. I should have hung up right then but since I need to keep this job till I start the airforce ill grin and bear it. Rest assured ill be transferring out of there to a closer one

I don't believe I'm reading all this stuff Jenkins wanted employees to have a say in the company don't give the right management team staff can leave with out saying goodbye and leave on time that what you're schedule is for I don't want to stay extra 30because they can't find someone to Relieve me that what oasis is for then people get mad because there break are late

Guest

No wonder work place at publix is bad it none of management team business what going on person life they should only call when shift can be coverage that it it call Harassment they should be sued for that if you stick up for yourself and they making waves tell them to get a shrink and anger management class And get a lawyer forIllegal fired you get lost money

Guest

I never answer calls from my employer. That's what voice mail is for. If they need to talk to me they can do it while I'm on the clock.

Guest

I like how you think you can act like a child, yet when you get treated like a child you complain. It is not his fault that you don't have a ride until 2.5 hours after your shift.

You cannot just come and go as you please, you have to leave when they want you to. Since you did not understand this when he talked you man to man he had to use small words and talk to you as if you are a child.

I seriously doubt you are doing more than your share of work if you have a habit of leaving early.

plumabird

If the child that wrote this review left early they are obviously like 9 or something. Besides the person you addressed is different than the person posting the review.

Onika Zwq

Mr. Oldtimer.

Obviously you have been with the company for awhile, so I'm inclined to agree with you vs someone that doesn't know what goes on behind the food counter.

nikalseyn says you should go into the Marines and grow up? I thought the maximum age is 29. I gather from your post that you are probably older than that so you can't enlist.

You have a right to vent. You don't have to wave the flag and say everything is warm and fuzzy. I doubt if you make near the money nikalseyn does. I'm not sure why nikalseyn thinks the Air Force would be a bad thing. All branches of the military should be respectful of our country and each other.

PUBLIX MANAGERS, NOT ALL, BUT A LOT OF THEM DO NOT CARE FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES. A LOT OF IT COMES FROM CORPORATE.

GEORGE JENKINS PHILOSOPHY WAS "TAKE CARE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES, AND THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU". HOW MANY PUBLIX WORKERS SHOP AT COMPETITORS? YOU GO INTO PUBLIX YOU CAN SEE THAT THE WORKERS ARE NOT HAPPY. THEY ARE TRYING TO GET RID OF THE OLD TIMERS BY CUTTING BACK HOURS, NOT RAISING THE STOCK PRICE AND MAKING THEIR JOBS MORE DIFFICULT.

THIS WAY, THE OLD TIMERS WILL NOT GET WHAT THEY HAVE WORKED SO HARD FOR. PUBLIX TRIES TO MAKE A NAME FOR THEMSELVES DONATING TO MARCH OF DIMES,UNITED WAY,WHICH BY THE WAY ONLY 10% GOES TO THE CHARITY (WOW)90% IS FOR THEMSELVES.

YOU CAN GOOGLE THIS AND SHOULD GOOGLE THIS BECAUSE IT IS AN EYE OPENER. PUBLIX HAS STARTED TAKING LESSONS FROMW WALMART ON HOW TO MAKE THEIR EMPLOYEES MISERABLE AND UNFAIRLY.

Actually, on the whole, Publix takes care of its associates very well. The quote is "First, take care of your customers.

Second, take care of your associates. They in turn will take care of your customers." Will there be cases of poor treatment? Of course, it's a very large company. Statistically speaking, its unavoidable.

It's internal policies are about being fair, consistent, and erring on the side of the associate. There are many associates out there that should have been let go years ago, but Publix always gives you another chance. (PS: Not raising the stock price?

Publix's stock is evaluated based on the industry's performance by an independent evaluator... )

John N Mzy

It sounds like you didn't bother to clear your early departure with your boss and just up and left work. If so, you are irresponsible and I would have terminated your employment immediately.

Time to grow up and take responsibility. You said something about the Air Force.

What you really need is to go into the Marines, tho you probably would not qualify for an organisation that requires hard work and dedication. :cry

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of John N Mzy

Um, it's organization. It's spelled with a "Z" not an "S".

And, the word is "THOUGH", not "tho", you ignorant buffoon.

If you are going belittle someone for ranting about a job, you probably need to turn on your spell checker, a dictionary, or find the only library in Kentucky (because we know there is only one in the whole state) and search how to spell the words properly. Because, seriously, you sound like an arrogant, unintelligent, ***.

lack of service and consistently out of stock

I shop and live near two stores since I live near the intersection of Apopka Vineland Rd. and Sand Lake rd. Both of these stores are usually very busy but since the opening of the neighborhood Walmart on Conroy Rd., the store near Isleworth has not been as busy, so I usually shop there even though I live closer to the other. Lately though, it doesn't matter which store I shop at, they're usually out of stock on sale items and all they can offer is a apology and a rain check. What about the time and money that I've wasted or time and money that Publix have wasted on planning and advertising of those sale items that they did not sell? I have noticed that in the last couple of years, the two stores have had a change in associates including new and younger managers. It seems like the company have lost it's senior, experienced leaders and are replacing them with young ones that seem to be more worried about partying or socializing with other associates than service. I've been shopping with Publix since the early 80's and know what this company was all about. This company have changed for the worse and lost its basic values and qualities from a consumer's perspective. Maybe it is time for me to look somewhere else that will take my money in exchange for product and service.

I overheard from one of the associates say that one of their corporate VPs live in the area close to the store on Sandlake Rd. I guess that he doesn't shop at this Publix, or he would know what's going on.

Then, maybe he does, but doesn't care enough since he is collecting the corporate pay check. It's what happens when you're VP. You just want to be popular and liked.

They expect the store management to do that, but that doesn't work either, since most of them are just kids managing kids and we all know how that works.

Guest

It's true. I live in the same area and they're always out of sale stuff.

They are supposed to have enough sale products to last with some cushion until the next delivery comes. It's not like the products they put on sale are not every day products that people don't buy after the sale and they don't have any knowledge of what they sold previously, the store has been there for over a decade. Things like this does happen but should not be routine, and should not come from a company like Publix.

We expect more out of them because they are supposed the best food retailer in the southeast.

Guest

Just so I understand, your complaint is they don't have items in stock? How long do you expect sale items to be on the shelf?

They are on sale and just like you maybe other customers have come in when the sale started and got those items. Maybe publix didn't get another truck or other merchandisers haven't came to restock those items just yet. You're really blaming a company for running out of items. This is happens at any grocery store.

It depends on the time of day you shop also.

By the way I live in the Orlando area as well and I experience the same at the publix locations near me sometimes, not all of the time though. It happens anywhere.

Guest

Sorry to hear about your experience.

The best way to "light a fire under the *** of the management teams in question at these two stores would be to either call or write an e-mail to the Publix corporate office.

If they value their jobs and their chances at promotion, Publix managers take these corporate complaints very seriously. They are documented and if they add up... it spells trouble for these managers.

Make sure to cite the particular store numbers in your e-mail.

I hope things improve for you! Best of luck...

Raw Pork Served @ Pubix South Dade Plaza

I was offered a sample of the 'Recipe of the Week' . It was pork with a veggie puree. The pork had a small puddle of blood emerging from the center of meat. I showed the gentleman cooking stating that raw pork causes trichinosis. His response was, "You could walk down the street and catch Ebola." I took the sample to management. The woman said that she was sure he used a meat thermometer, but had no desire to address his inappropriate commentary. How could such a large corporation have such little regard for its consumer's well-being? We absolutely need more choices for shopping and maybe then Publix would rethink its apathetic disposition.

The USDA is 145 degrees. Changed from 160 in 2011 I believe. Might not be best that way, but it's hardly illegal to do pork at 145.

Feeling great

publix is a great place to work. I work as a cashier at publix in largo Fl.

We have the best mangers I have ever seen. I have worked here for three months and love it! My store no. is 1034.

I feel like I am part of a family. It is sad to hear that so many people have had trouble with their mangers. Maybe if more complaints were made to the publix office they can take a look at these mangers.

My manager is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I am thankful publix gave me a job 3 months ago

Guest

sounds like your manager need to come over and work and retrain all the employees in the FEATHERSOUND, Clearwater Publix off of Ulmerton Road near inerstate 275.

Because management had good trading the rest just sit on ***

The real truth about promotion is how you perform,(1-pull your pants down and do what your manager tells you to do,(2- and if you do perform on manager make sure you swallow,(3- do not scream that is a no-no(4-and do not show and tell,(5- if you get caught by a employee with the manager.Tell them you were resting not sleeping,

I WENT UP TO THE DELI IN Okatie SC ..I ALWAYS GO THERE TO BUY. WELL, I went up to the cashier, she said I'm close. I moved other to the only register that was open at that time. Another costumer got behind me. The cashier that had said she was close called the costumer that just got there.

Bullying

After years of being told that the deli RIS for district 18, (Dwayne Bryant's district), treats everyone like *** and get over it, we have had enough of Claire Keating and upper management just blowing her bullying of associates under the rug. She should be demoted and deal with all the daily tasks in the deli....all have changed since she was a deli manager, and not a great one at that.

She gossips to the point of slander and needs to be removed. It is impossible to create a positive work environment with the threat of her visiting your store at any moment.

Mr. George would have kicked her out years ago

She is probably in with the drunks and druggies and ex cons who make up most of the management at Publix. Work?

That's for the unfortunate ones who do not make the God-in- Training List. They, the Chosen Ones, can play *** on the pole in the middle of the deli, sit in the back office and talk on cell phone, go get a little nookie in the back with another department manager, walk around the store with an aimless *** look on their face, go smoke cigarettes every 30 minutes, etc.,

Publix is a good company to work for, they are big on giving people second chances. Not all managers are this way though, so I didn't mean it to sound that way in my original post on July 02.

Publix does get around to eventually dealing with bad management.

I don't know your store and the person you are writing about, I am in a different state, but keep letting corporate know about it, try to deal directly with corporate. Keep journals with dates and specific times and where the behavior can be observed on a camera because it would have been recorded.

My customer service manger told me that Dwayne Bryant once asked her out on a date not knowing that she was a customer service manager at another district that he was later transferred to. He is a married man and should not be doing something like that but he also uses his position to get what he wants if you want to be promoted.

They all have stink on each other so no one in going to discipline anyone in upper management.

When they do get caught, they slap each others' hand and sweep it under the rug.

We can all tell you @ her Great Danes, her x husband and her ungrateful kids, we can also tell you details @ cruises she has been on with other Publix employees. I'm sure they'll be thrilled. We learn all this while she is supposed to be training us.

Guest

How do we know it is not you who is slandering her because she is after you for not doing a good job?

We are all doing a bad job? This is not just one associate complaint and should not be taken lightly

Nobody reads glass door. The only way associates get a response is if they access a consumer website
