Publix Sexist Racist Mike Melville

Mike Melville, a racist, sexist in Deerfield Dairy Plant has been arrested for domestic violence, calls black employees "boot lips" in his private life, committed adultery, and was disciplined for improperly handling a sexual harassment claim. But I bet you won't find any discipline in his personnel file.

Publix keeps a "separate" set of records for certain employees. Check it out.

Mike Melville abandoned his wife and children in order to further his career with the company and the company encouraged and promoted his decision to move away from his family and chidlren, costing him his marriage. Family values.

Publix Raspberry Blush Sherbet Review

I ate publix raspberry sorbet last week, woke up in the middle of the night with severe abdominal pain and diarrhea. It lasted a couple of horrible days. I thought I'd caught a stomach bug. Tonight I ate it again and have the same horrible pain and diarrhea. It was not sugar free like your other complaint, but obviously it isn't poison free

Publix missmarked items

I googled Publix Missmarked items and found this complaint...I always have one or two items on sale wrongly marked when I check the receipt. I love that they refund my money and give me free stuff! Why doesn't Walmart,Trader Joes,Big Lots or any of my usual stores make these mistakes?????? Never????? a mistake...And I agree, most people never check!!!! Even After I report the items, and I check them, nothing has been done! could it be, No One cares? I would think the employees being stockholders would make the effort to correct this problem. Well, I am off to collect my refund and FREE product.

I think you took too much clonazepam before you wrote this because it makes no sense. A medication is a medication regardless of the manufacturer.

All medications have to be approved by the FDA and undergo rigorous testing to prove that they are bioequivalent and effective.

You are nuts.

Publix - Manager Review from Raleigh, North Carolina

I was rudely moved aside my shopping cart and told it was there job to push it out for me. When I tried to take it back he just kept walking.

The manager dave said i should be more acceptable to there policy and i should get over it. This dave guy is so pig headed. Publix is a terrible store. There managers stink.

Are two faced back stabbing people. Enclosed is the manager dave. Publix is private and not on wall street. If they were then they couldnt behave the way they do.

They dont believe in equal rights. Boycott Publix

I was treated very bad at a Publix store in Charlotte NC. I was looking for a product in the store and I went up and down every isle, I guess they don't sell the product anymore, I also had a little poodle in a crate in my buggy.

And this manager grabbed my by the arm, and said I have to leave the store, because he was gonna take the buggy and wash it out, he acted like a thud, a member of the mafia gang. He walked with me to the register, which was very scary, and I felt I was being treated like a criminal. I will never shop in that store again. They are way to expensive anyway.

He also said I can't have you walking up and down the isle's like that. I thought it was a good store, my parents use to shop there in Florida.

Guest

Aww,how cute. Sounds like someone is crushing on the man in the photo. :)

Guest

I don't understand. You're angry that they wanted to help you out with your groceries? There's just no making you happy, is there?

Guest

I would not worry about the post. Judging by the grammatical errors and the unrealistic statement that a professional manager would use the term "get over it" the individual posting it has issues.

Guest

There are false claims against my store and I. I have contacted my lawyer, and if this post along with my picture is not removed by March 23, 2015 I will be seeking legal action against the libel post made about me.

Seriously? Dave, you need to look at it differently.

Anonymous is right. This individual seems to be one of those thin skinned *** that just look for a reason to get upset at someone. I really would reconsider your position on this one. Look how many times this *** uses the wrong word for "their".

From my point of view, you have two fantastic options.

First, embrace the fact that your picture is on display and update it with one that shows you from your best side, well lit, professionally done in the midst of flipping the bird to these tools. Second (and might I say is my personal favorite option), send an invoice charging the person for using your image.

Add a surcharge for temporary unlicensed usage, demand net 10 payment and when they don't produce the funds, send in a collections group to get the money you are due.

The individual is upset because someone pushed a basket when he/she wanted to. That's either a person that just got a new iPad for their third birthday or a grown up with issues.

Publix, on Nova, in Port Orange is the worst Publix I have ever shopped. Employees have not been trained properly to deliver customer service. Disappointed in Publix and that I will have to drive out of my way to the store on Taylor Road where there iis evidence of qualified management.

Rude *** publix worker acting stalkerish

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I went to publix on 2100 winter springs blvd in oviedo fl. On jan 6. I was waiting in line checking out and this weird rude short worker white male with brown hair came. And he acted as if he was brooming but he was just slowly moving the broom back and forth. He was really irritating and wudnt leave my aisle or area. He just seemed to want to be in my space or area and aggravate me. He continued coming back to my area and aisle and he wasn't brooming but just walking oddly and moving the broom strangely. He was an *** *** and was behaving almost like a stalker and it was annoying and creeping me out. If he was doing his job I would understand but it was obvious he was not brooming or doing his job he was just there trying to be some kind of irritating presence. This young *** kid was young looking.

I finally asked him to wait and stop doing that until I left. Really I wanted to tell him to get lost and leave me alone. He said "okay" with a weird blank stare and attitude. He had no emotion and was acting reslly strange. Then he just stood there like a weird robot staring at me and he was staring in a very *** way it was so scary that even the two females that work there looked at him and said what's going on there why is he standing there and they asked them and they said what's going on. What was the problem of this retarded male that he had to act so weird his behavior was almost intimidating and very very strange and not normal.

Even the female employees were disturbed by this *** behavior and I think Publix needs to tell this Loser that he does not need to be treating customers this way or women this way. He was almost acting like some kind of a psychopath though the manner in which he was standing and staring and the way he acted prior to that.

He was intimidating weird and definitely just wanted to bother me and almost scare me. I'd say maybe he liked me

Or wanted my attention but no. He was just acting *** and doesn't need to be hanging around female customers and creeping them

Out like that. This loser is an *** and needs to be talked to or fired or something.

Your complaint creeped me out. You don't know how to capitalize, and you also don't know how to spell.

What in heaven's name is "brooming?" Most people sweep. Actually your complaint shows how out of the loop you are when you so rudely refer to this male employee as being "retarded." It kind of indicates that you are in that mental situation yourself. You also do a lot of repetition in your complaint, just a lot of rambling. You must think you are pretty "HOT" if you think he liked you.

More than likely he was mentally handicapped and had been told to go to that area and sweep the floor. There, but for the grace of God goes you.

You could develop a severe illness or even be in a horribly bad accident that would leave you mentally handicapped and maybe even physically handicapped to the point that you can't do anything for yourself. Maybe before you come across as being a completely rude *** you should put yourself in the place of people that you seem to like to judge.

Publix only cares about it's profits and reputation, not customers or associates

Publix Uses force tactics to have their associates donate to make the company look good in public views. They have their associates taken out of the stores for hours to listen to these CEO's of these charities and then have them fill out donation forms in front of their peers and supervisors.

They only seem to care about customers when they complain and it's because they don't want to ruin their chances of a promotion. Once they get promoted, they all sit on their butts and get fat. Most of them don't even walk the store because they're probably out of breath after just a couple of aisles.

Pay attention next time you're in their stores and see if you see the store managers out with customers or in the office with the door closed stuffing their faces.

Let boy boycott this year's donation we can't keep giving our hard darn money to company that aren't giving the money for people in need

Guest

If you don't make a weekly contribution to United Way Publix will blacklist you from promotions. ALL managers are expected, I.e. required, to give a min of $25 called the managers circle.

Guest

Publix just wrote a check for 2.2 mil to the Special Olympics and took credit for it. This money was collected from customers and associates at store level, not from corporate level.

I'm sure they claim taxes on this also. How deceiving!!

American Red Cross

Claim: President and CEO Marsha J. Evans’ salary for the year was $651,957 plus expenses

Facts: Marsha J.

Evans was CEO of the American Red Cross from 2002-****. In December 2005 she received a severance package of $780,000. This included 18 months of salary plus $36,495 in an unpaid bonus. Based on this figure, this would work out to about $495,000 per year.

A more recent CEO, Gail McGovern, actually earned more than claimed above, at $1,032,022.

Program Expenses: 92%

March of Dimes

Claim: It is called March of Dimes because only a dime for every 1 dollar is given to the needy. Facts: The National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis was founded in 1938 and was nicknamed the “March of Dimes” after fundraisers which requested that each child donate a dime (the name was officially changed years later). It should be noted that in 2011 President Jennifer Howse received a salary of $545,982. Program Expenses: 66%-75% The United Way Claim: President Brian Gallagher receives a $375,000 base salary along with numerous expense benefits.

Facts: As of 2010, President and CEO Brian Gallagher actually made more than claimed, at $559,257. Program Expenses: 89%-91% Unicef Claim: CEO Caryl M Stern receives $1,200,000 per year ($100k per month) plus all expenses including a Rolls Royce. Less than 5 cents of your donated dollar goes to the cause. Facts: President and CEO Caryl M.

Stern’s compensation is currently listed at $454,855. There is no source or evidence to support the Rolls Royce claim. Program Expenses: 90%-91% Sponsored Links Goodwill Claim: CEO and owner Mark Curran profits $2.3 million a year. Goodwill is a very catchy name for his business.

You donate to his business and then he sells the items for PROFIT. He pays nothing for his products and pays his workers minimum wage! Nice guy. $0.00 goes to help anyone!

Stop giving to this man. Facts: This claim is completely false. According to the Goodwill website: “82 percent of Goodwill’s revenues go directly into employment and training programs for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment!” Jim Gibbons is the CEO of Goodwill Industries International and his most recent compensation was reported to be $729,310.

Goodwill has refuted some of these claims here. Program Expenses: 92%

As you open your pockets for yet another natural disaster or Christmas season, keep these facts in mind when "donating". Marsha J.

Evans, President and CEO of the American Red Cross... Salary for year was $651,957 plus expenses. (That's $74.42 an hour for EVERY hour of EVERY day.)

Brian Gallagher, President of the United Way receives a $375,000 base salary, plus numerous expense benefits. (That's $42.80 an hour for EVERY hour of EVERY day.)

UNICEF CEO receives $1,200,000 per year plus all expenses and a ROLLS ROYCE car where ever he goes and only cents of your dollar goes to the cause.

(That's $1369.86 an hour for EVERY hour of EVERY day.)

The Salvation Army's Commissioner Todd Bassett receives a salary of only $13,000 per year (plus housing) for managing this $2 billion dollar organization .

No further comment necessary except listen for the bells outside stores this Christmas. Please share this with everyone you can think of.

I like to donate to the Salvation Army and Samaritan’s Purse—they don’t have bureaucracies or red tape between you and the person in need. Obviously, the others are filling their own pockets. How much do you make a year?

:roll :eek :? :x Reply

Employees are pressured strongly to donate to United Way and cashiers are pressured several times a day to beg customers for donations. Cashiers do NOT receive any rewards or incentives.

Compliments from customers are unacknowledged and there is literally no positive feedback for excellent associates. Once you work for Publix for 4-5 years your pay is capped, and you cant make any more money.

Many of the Publix employees receive Food Stamps, WIC or Medicaid because they cant afford to support their families on what Publix pays. Publix should be ashamed and pay their employees a fair living wage with cost of living raises and eliminate the substandard pay cap.

Guest

There are an incentives for everything. Publix have contest within their districts to see who can raise the most money between stores.

The winning store/store manager gets recognition and sometimes "something special", if you catch my drift. Within the store, cashiers also get incentives, like maybe a gift card. The money that Publix gets credit for donating to the Special Olympics or different charities isn't even their money, and the people collecting it actually got paid or kickbacks in one way or another. If Publix Corporation is such a great company, they should just cut a check from the 5-6 billion dollars in profit that they make every year and quit asking their customers and associates to donate.

They also use it as a tax write off, like they need it. So if you'd like to donate, donate your time to a local charity, buy food for your local humane society, or to your local small church (not the ones that are ran like a business and your pastor who drives a luxury vehicle).

Guest

I have worked there for 12 years, and yes I have been asked to donate. Though I have my OWN charities that I donate to. Never been pushed in a corner or held at gun point to make a donation to the charities that we raise money for.

I do try to take care of the customers the negative as well as the positive ones. Since it's my JOB to try to make things right.

Now are some managers lazy? I could agree with you I have worked with a few, but there are plenty that are out there helping in departments from the back that you cant just see.
