Bad meat

Publix - Bad meat
Publix - Bad meat - Image 2
I purchased 4 lbs. of extra lean hamburger meat on 10/21/21 with a sell before 10./24/2021. When I opened it up, in the center it had these large dark brown and ugly pieces of meat throughout the package. When I brought it back the meat manager said that is normal and she would eat it. Not me, when I was younger I work for Food Fair up in NY. I would make tubs of 50 lbs. of meat and have 4 or 5 tubs. I am sorry but this is not normal.

I called to the manager of the store I go to (Sam) to tell him I was quite disgusted with Publix. It was all over the news that you were going to require the unvax employees to wear masks!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Its disgusting you are shaming your employees that our unvaxxed by wearing masks! When I spoke to the manager of our local store he said you were following CDC guidelines!

I told him that was *** the CDC changes their mind everyday according to what doopy Biden says! The second incident is you dont sell the New York Post (at least in the SunCoast area), that tells me your very liberal since you sell the New York Times. The third incident is I fell in your parking lot last week and two customers helped me up. When I got home I called and spoke to a mgr called Tara and told her and she was going to check the camera.

She told me to come in and fill an incident report! I told her I would if i was feeling bad the next day. I felt okay, a little sore but I knew nothing was broken. I never received a phone call from you even asking how I was feeling.

I can see you are not a company that cares about its customers! I feel you are a WOKE, Liberal company and I will never Go to another Publix store and will badmouth you every chance I get.

Beaufort SC Ladys island store started charging $4.80 for gallon of whole milk, price was $3.59

Local Walmart was $3.69 now $3.84 this week. I was in Pinehurst NC last week at Food Lion Same gallon milk $3.09 couple days later price went to $3.59. So something happened to increase price. The small increases at Walmart and food lion appear to be inflation. The $1.21 by Publix appears to be price gouging. The are also other items I can share

The Deli employee at Publix in Windermere/FL Precious Rivers always mistreats customers, especially immigrants, and she depends on customers being treated well to keep coming back to Publix. tries to pass himself off as a general manager to intimidate immigrants. I don't recommend anyone going to Publix in Windermere or wherever that person is working.

Buy 1 Get 1 product scams

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

It absolutely NEVER FAILS that each time Publix runs their by one get one sale, they use it to flim-flam and scam customers. I have search all of their local stores and none on them carry the item the sale claims to be for:

1. I purchased Planters 'whole' Cashews - 8.5 oz can

2. The signs on the shelves clearly stated that the ones I bought and all other sizes of varieties were on sale such as the halves and the halves with pieces.

3. I called the store to let them know the discount was not taken on the cashews and was told to bring the receipt back for an adjustment.

4. It is the day before Thanksgiving and this was not a trip a wanted to 're-do' because of a store scam/error.

5. I returned today and as instructed, took the receipt to customer service where one seemingly confused and incompetent cashier [Gercie] asked when did I call, I told her when I got home yesterday and checked all my items and noticed the sale price was not reflected on the receipt. She didn't seem to know how to check for it and handed it to [no-name, trailer trash TammySue] standing next to her, who rudely snatched it out of her hand replying "hand it here!" She yanked out a book with sale information and said the size I bought was the wrong size, a lot of this and that about it had to be the size in the computer. Yes it's in the computer, but on the shelf another size, which causes the customer to select the product not realizing the size you claim is on sale is nowhere to be found in the store. I said "once the item is sold out they need to take the sign down, not move it over onto sizes and other that are not on sale." She threw the receipt on the table, Gercie picked it up an handed it back while this faux smart aleck yells out "you have a nice day"! While I could've couched up some real truth about who and what she obviously respresents [i.e. ignorant, redneck, low class *** opted not to. Instead, I later checked the web page listing the sales and got a response that the 6.5 oz can the rude alley-bat claimed to be on sale is not sold at that location - but also, NONE OF THE OTHER STORES IN THE STATE!

So - people if you haven't bought your groceries and want to avoid any last minute nightmares, stay out of this Publix and all the others! Shop at Kroger and Walmart, they are better options with better prices. This is the oldest con in the book - it's called BAIT &;;;;;;;amp;;;; SWITCH! These stores know people are working with limited budgets, [many still out of work] gas at an all time high and no one wants to spend valuable time running back into a store for this type of lies and deception. They keep the poorest records on earth at this location. I came in a month ago to pick up a prescription and the people in the pharmacy took 75 minutes to find a prescription in the computer that had been sitting in there since the day before. My M.D., NOT HIS STAFF, phoned it in himself! Just complete incompetene and don't even ask for the store manager [Aly Khounpraseuth] - he must live on another planet!!!

Customer Service

The majority of Publix employees are very good in customer services. Today I have a very bad experience in Deli Dpt.in Aloma Store in Winter Park. The worse thing is I always tried with respect everybody, but this guy not does not have any idea how to speak to a human being.

No emphaty, no minimum interest to help me, and the worse yell me.

I dont want to believe that this person is racist, but I cant imagine how he works there if he try the people like trash.

Attention Publix , Some people needs training in minimum modals, courtesy..

o is fine for Publix to disrespect customers? Again, I doubt this guy do the same to everybodymmm (somebody who does not like other race than Caucasian?

Review in Employees and Ex-employees category from Clearwater, Florida

What an AWFUL place to work! To be honest the best way to get promoted is to be as lazy as humanly possible and not care about your job. I have seen so many hard working people get *** on by the *** company. The main reason why publix rarely fires people is because of the high fear of ending up the news as to how bad some employees get treated in their stores. George is probably looking down in absolute disbelief as to how fast this company has gone to straight *** after he died. I personally think that private investigations should be done on Publix. Corporate needs to open their eyes and realize what's really going on in their store before *** truly hits the fan!!

Their poor English could be the reason they have issues. The people working there cannot understand her.

Complaint re: Grocery Pickup

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

This morning I placed a PICK-UP order from Publix, Cottonwood Corners, Dothan, AL for approximately $100 for pickup between 6 and 7 pm. At 3:45 AMANDA began started to input items into my INSTA-CART and by 3:57 she had SUBSTITUTED 5 grocery items already, to include a Russell Stover box of milk chocolates, several cans of Campbell Soup (on sale), and Cranberry Sauce.

As soon as I got her messages, I asked her to PLEASE STOP substituting items. I didn't want what I hadn't ordered. I then asked for a "different" shopper.

The store obviously got ANGRY re: my request and CANCELLED my order. It took me a long time to comprise my grocery list, but I will NOT be doing business with that store in the future.

As far as I'm concerned, this is VERY POOR customer service, and the "shopper" assigned to fulfill my order is very incompetent.

As a side note: On another recent order, 4 bottles of Fairlife Milk were listed as delivered to the car, when they were actually MISSING (not delivered), although they showed up on the cash register receipt as purchased -- SAME STORE. They did give me a refund, but the FACT is the shopper was careless.

Bad potatoes

I bought Publix brand russet potatoes when my son visited. I began making his favorite, meatloaf and mashed potatoes. The Publix potatoes were gummy and slimy and tasteless. I had to throw them away. Publix ruined my dinner for my hardworking son.
