Pork loin‘s were on sale buy one get one free my customer requested 2 pound packs which is what was advertised most of the packs were 1.2 or 1.3 he help straighten out that by making 22 pound packs we have a happy customer and you have a happy customer because of a responsible employee Kemar
Temperature of freezers
I do not know why Publix cannot keep the frozen foods and ice cream at the proper temperature. 0Ice cream should be kept at 0 degrees or lower -18 degreen centigrade.
Ice cream at Southern Blvd Publix is always soft to the touch and you can squeeze the containers and they are not solid. Ice cream will melt and refreeze changing the flavor and texture with ice crystals forming on refrozen ice cream.
Keep the freezers at the proper temperature to keep ice cream FROZEN not to mention it will melt a lot faster faster when you are checking out. If I want soft ice cream I will go to Carvel.

Publix Stores in Winter Haven Florida
Well, the truth of the matter Publix has been around along time 87 years to be exact. As a whole Publix was known to be the number 1 grocery store known for their customer service, quality and cleanliness and most customers were excited about grocery shopping here and most still are except.....
If Publix bosses would go undercover themselves or take a survey to better their store customer service, quality and cleanliness lets just say here in Winter Haven Florida they could experience why their customers (who keep them in business) would say "that has gone down hill" I would bet money on it most would agree. That has been my experience. Nonchalant Publix responses is "We're sorry". Most customers probably do not believe Publix anymore or they would say I don't know about that.
The saying "action speaks louder than words" Publix needs to take some action. In my overall opinion shopping at publix for years I have experience this and heard other customers complaining about having to wait for chicken up to 45 - 60 mins, 30 mins to 45 mins to get a sub sand which made and the deli meats 30 mins to 45 mins just some of the ongoing down hill experiences.
This department is part of your grocery shopping but, however, most Publix customers dread it if the truth would to be know as the saying goes or keeping it real. The Publix bakery department has the same issues.
- Affordability
- Bogo offers
- Layout of store
- Long waits for deli
- Long waits for bakery
- Long waits for fried chicken
Fruit containers are dangerous
The Publix fruit containers are very dangerous. They are so hard to open and yesterday it peel off a layer of my thumb.
I am a diabetic and now worried sick that I may get an infection! Not to mention how very painful it is! I cannot even wash my hands without the stinging and pain of the injury. I am very disappointed in the lack of regard for safety in this design.
The container material is way too thin and does not have sufficient width in the section you pull to open. I would like corporate to take a look at their design and be more careful.

SIDES WERE TOO SALTY TO EAT!!!!
The Publix where I usually shop is wonderful. I have no complaints at all with the store.
Last year we ordered a turkey dinner and the sides were a little salty but edible so this year we did the same thing. I added extra sides and pies. However, the stuffing was so salty I spit it into the sink. The potatoes were worse.
Did someone spill the salt into these sides? Luckily I had a Pepperidge farms stuffing mix and instant potatoes that I made up with my company on the way. Never again. I served both stuffings and both potatoes, with fair warning.
It wasn't just me. The pre-made sides went right into the trash. What a shame. The rest went into the disposal.
What a waste of food and money. PLEASE PUBLIX, PLEASE get someone else to make your dinners next year. We won't buy it again.
In a pinch, I would buy a pre-cooked turkey breast and pick out some sides made by Hormell or similar near the meat department. Don't waste your money.
- I usually love publix
- Quality of products
Preferred solution: Reimburse me for VERY salty stuffing, potatoes, and gravy, and soggy sour pie. The marshmallow salad was WAY too sweet. Who eats things that sweet anymore? The turkey and cranberry sauce were good !!

WORST TREATMENT YET!!!
We went to our Publix like we do almost everyday for 10 years+. There were around 8 employees and 3 were managers.
They were rushing to get icecream out of cooler. We were getting ice cream so I asked the one young kid there if there was anything we needed to be concerned with. He said they were putting new shelves in there. Then when we waked by them after that the female manager said "that was sligh" Then started laughing.
They were pulling all the publix brand ice cream out of the cooler. This is the 2nd extreme hatefulness I've dealt with in the last year. Everyone use to be so polite!! What happened??
Thank goodness there are more grocery stores now to choose from. Even if it was a recall, why rude??

Issue with constant donation requests
I shop at my local Publix in Miami, FL 2 to 3 times per week, in which I spend an average of $35 - $70 per trip (and those are the small trips). First of all, Publix is expensive, but I do appreciate their BOGO deals, which are the reason I always come back.
When you have a family to feed, buying things at half off get you a long way. Secondly, this review has nothing to do with employees who work at Publix. For the most part, they are friendly and helpful whenever I cannot locate an item or when I need help to my car. I love my local Publix employees.
My annoyance is with the constant donations that Publix makes employees ask customers for every time they are checking out. I can understand that they *may* be good causes, but there are a few things wrong here: (1) Your customers are likely about to spend a lot of money during the checkout process. It is really not the right time to ask for more money from them. (2) Most of your customers are lower to middle-class families balancing a paycheck day-to-day.
On top of having to feel bad about being unable to fully provide for their families, they need to feel bad about not fully providing for the world, too. At my local Publix, register workers are nice, but they usually phrase the request like "do you want to help donate food to poor kids?" Really? No, I don't. I really don't.
I want poor kids to starve, including my own. I leave with a constant guilt trip every time I leave a Publix, because now I have to feel like an *** at the fact that I can likely donate a $1 to feed a hungry child, but I chose not to. What an *** I am! (3) During a checkout, a customer cannot possibly find out enough information about the organization that Publix is donating to and workers never know sufficiently about the organization to answer important questions.
Also, they do not have the time to do so (and there is usually a line of customers waiting). I have stopped shopping at Publix for a few months already for this reason.
If Publix would like to continue donating to organizations, do so from your own profits (I am sure a 1% of your profits would probably outdo all of the donations you receive). Of course, make it known that you are doing this so that customers can make an informed decision as to whether or not to shop at Publix, but stop asking customers for more, please.
- Friendly
- Extremely high prices

I believe it is a health code requirement now. It is posted in grocery stores now. There a sugns in both PUBLIX and Walmart.
https://www.ada.gov/regs2010/service_animal_qa.html I've looked it up several time and suggest you do the same. On the ADA web site they explicitly explain that emotional support animals are NOT service dogs and do not have the same access.
Also, even service dogs are required to be on the floor on a leash unless there is a specific requirement that they be very close so they can actually smell you breath for certain diseases, even then they are required to be in a front carrier or pouch that you carry. None of them can ride in the basket, that's just your imagination.
It really doesn't matter what you THINK the rules should be, that's irrelevant. Actually check out the actual requirements then you will know what you're talking about.
Thank you! I am so sick of people crying" discrimination" because they feel the rules don't apply to them!
It’s a supermarket not Petco. They need to reduce the risk of disease. It’s not a personal attack.
Handicapped people have service dogs ... which do not ride in shopping carts. Go take your emotional dog and go shop at some disgusting store that allows animals and their pets to frolick about.
You are only allowed to bring a service dog to grocery stores..emotional support animal is not a service dog
No it's the law
