They will not return my air filter or light bulbs that I purchased

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

They will not return my air filter or light bulbs that I purchased. They have no proper return policy in place during COVID-19 they just tell you that you cannot return anything unless its a rotten tomato.

Its what customer service at the corporate office told me. I spent over $20 on two separate items. Thats how much I make hourly.I have my receipt and yet they still would not offer me any kind of solution no trade out for my products no gift receipt they just will not return the items nor will they give you your money back. I will never set foot in Publix.

Trader Joes is a better option and has better prices. I have overspent with Publix for years. I spent at least 250 a week. I take care of my mom and I buy all of her stuff there as well as mine.

If theyre so worried about COVID-19 why do they allow hundreds of people in the store at a time that do not wear masks gloves or comply with the 6 foot social distancing? But yet theyre not gonna return anything exchange anything I think its *** and Publix is just a bunch of thieves.

I work in surgery. *** to all of the corporate greedy bastards of Publix!

"Our teams continue to work tirelessly to keep our stores open and shelves stocked. As circumstances evolve, we’ll adjust policies accordingly to best serve our customers.

We’re suspending refunds on products purchased during this declared emergency and encourage customers to avoid stockpiling and to only purchase what they need.

We will continue to honor our Publix Guarantee for products that do not meet our quality standards. We’re in this together, and must take into consideration the needs of all customers during this unprecedented time." It's right there in the return policy, maybe read a store's return policy before buying something if you feel it's going to be a possibility.

Because when demand goes up and supply does not prices go up. That's how capitalism and basic economics works.

Bakery birthday cake

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Publix - Bakery birthday cake

I always order a birthday cake from Publix on Hardscrabble Road in Columbia SC for every member of my family for the past several years. I have always been very pleased with the taste, especially their buttercream icing.

I ordered one for my son who turned 5 . We were so excited about celebrating and eating his monster truck cake. But I got a great shock when I tried it, it taste as if it's on the *** of souring or going bad. There's a bitter taste to it &;;;;;;;;;;;; I asked my husband to try it.

He said it tastes old and quite nasty. I wouldn't let me son even eat his own birthday cake afraid it maybe something wrong with the icing. I'm so very disappointed with it as far as taste is concerned. It looks beautiful on the outside but tastes horrible.

I had alot of faith in Publix as I've never purchased a bad cake from them before but this has ruined our sons birthday.

I will definitely be thinking twice in the future about ordering from them again considering the price we paid for this cake, I expected so much more. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

If you only tried a bit of the cake, then just take it back to Publix. We assume you kept the receipt as one normally does for a few days just for an eventuality such as this.

Yes, as I stated, I ordered it online so I have my electronic receipt. We still have the cake in the trash and we are not going out as much as possible because of the coronavirus.

My husband felt it not necessary to go out in public and risk getting sick. This is why I ordered it online and had it brought to our car.

Racial remarks

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I was in your Greensboro Adams Farm store on November 17, 2019. I had my 2 grandson with me, as we entered into the store my kids was asking to climb up in the go-cart for kids. My grandson climbed in the cart and your store clerk out loud said look at that Monkey climbed in that cart, as my other son climbed in the store clerk made the racial comment again (look at that monkey climbed in that cart again). I then turned to the store clerk at the front of the entrance and stated "I Know she is not calling my kids "Monkey". The store clerk then started to laugh at calling my kids monkeys. I called the store the next day and spoke to the Manager regarding the employee calling my kids a monkey. I explained to him that that remarks to the black race is considered a racial remark and no kid should be called a Monkey. The store Manager (Ryan) did call me back and told me that the young lady worked at another Publix store and that he will call the store and inform the Manager. I received a call back in 2 days and the Manager Ryan explained to me that the lady did not mean the remarks to be a racial remark and she was just playing and the young lady was going to receive disciplinary action, however he was not able to tell me the outcome, but he will not allow her to work in that Publix store again. I know that Publix have the reputation of being very friendly to all customers, however in this case I was very uncomfortable shopping in this store and will not go back until something is done about this matter.

Bought a rotisserie chicken, got all the way, cut it open, about served it to my kids. When blood came out the bottom. Scary!!! It look done on the outside if I hadn't of checked it my kids could of been deathly ill. Manager just refunded me. I wanted to hear that they would pull the chicken off the shelf and make sure no one else got sick, but they never said that.

Third world grocery store

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
As a manufacturers representative with more than 20 years of service, I visit Publix and other grocery stores, in a large territory, as part of my job. All stores, it seems, have their occasional issues. Publix on the other hand has ever increasingly larger systemic issues. First, they advertise weekly specials and BOGO's but mostly fail to increase stock levels to support sales. Some might call this bait and switch, what you want is out of stock so you will just buy something else at full price. Second, their deli department is third world at best, get used to limited prepared foods available between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Further, their prices march upward at a rate that far exceeds inflation. I work in their stores and usually walk away from even their BOGO's, which often are so high priced the two for the price of one is a bad value. Half a stupid price is still stupid. Regrettably, Publix has become a near monopoly in gentrified communities as other chains like Albertsons, Food Lion and Winn Dixie have closed stores.

I worked for Publix for almost two years. We recently had management change in the store and he is a piece of *** He discriminates certain kinds of people (people with a disability and MILITARY.) We had a guy who was in military training and he wanted to move up to bakery from cashing but the manager said "no, because you're in the military." WTF!?!?!?!?! He refused to move women up to the stocking position, instead he hired new men. He refused to let a person with downs syndrome TRY to be a cashier under the watch of a supervisor. I had contacted corporate on my behalf and a week later my manager threatened to fire me if I don't quit. I was happy to give my two-weeks notice because I wasn't going to give them the power to *** up my resume. Publix is a bad company to work for and they will make you suffer just so they can get paid with the big checks. Publix corporation is currently being sued more than once and I doubt Publix will last forever.

The stores lack of compliance to Federal Law prohibiting any pet, SVC. or not in carts. Customer SVC Says, they can't approach customers and displease them. Store mngr. says they do approach them, and sanatize the cart. Then why is LIZARD and small DOGS still VISABLE in carts, weekly?????
