publix is full of ***. they are a cult.
they treat there employees like animals. they work the *** out of you. the managers try to make you do there job.the job they get payed to do. i hope the company goes out of busness.
& before it goes out of busnness all there employees sue the *** out off them. they emplyees need to get a union. i have never seen anything like it in all my years of working. the store i worked at had people crying all the time.
they over work the *** out off them. sad what a sad sad world we live in.
Thanksgiving Dinner
I purchased the pre-cooked turkey breast Thanksgiving dinner. The potatoes were watery, due to be frozen, and the cornbread stuffing was so salty that not one of us had more than the first bite!
highly disappointed. This was the first---and now only time I will buy from Publix. I decided not to cook after having family medical needs to tend to and just not feeling up to the work.
It sounded and looked like a nice way to have family together without too much fuss, but actually turned into a huge disappointment. Boars Head Turkey from the deli topped with gravy would have been better than the Publix dinner:(
- Friendly
- Thanksgiving dinner was terrible tasted like a salt lick

Resolved: Rude Associates Never Heard a Baby Cry Before
I had a very miserable experience at Publix tonight thanks to four associates. My husband and I went into this Publix around 8:00 p.m.
on 7 December 2016 with our baby, intending to only be there about 5 minutes to pick up a few things. Our baby started crying as we were leaving. One of the other customers started being rude to us about our baby crying (which of course isn't Publix's fault) and telling us what we needed to do with our child and stopping her cart just to scowl at us. She got up to the registers before us and started to spread the rumor on what bad parents we were because our baby was crying.
May I remind you, this is AS WE ARE LEAVING to obviously tend to our child. When my husband and I get up to the register we get death stares from two of their cashiers and two of your baggers. I explain that my baby is just crabby and fighting sleep. One of baggers/cashiers walks up to me and starts making demands to me on how to take care of my child.
The other bagger and two cashiers chime in as well, being completely rude and condescending toward my husband and I. The lady that walked up to me was the most rude. She said, "You need to pick him up! He is crying for you!
Where is his bottle? You need to take your *T-word for **** out to feed him! (yes she actually used that word)." As if I'm just going to pull out my *** and start breastfeeding right there in the line! I point out that I am about to leave the store and tell her to mind her own business.
As this is happening the other three Publix associates are GLARING at me and throwing in their own 2 cents. They acted as if they have never seen a baby cry before!! I have never went into a store anywhere and had any associates be so rude to me! Thankfully, we called the manager and she was polite, professional, and understanding.
She said she would talk to the associates about the issue.
So compliments to her. I am still very upset though!!!
SIDES WERE TOO SALTY TO EAT!!!!
The Publix where I usually shop is wonderful. I have no complaints at all with the store.
Last year we ordered a turkey dinner and the sides were a little salty but edible so this year we did the same thing. I added extra sides and pies. However, the stuffing was so salty I spit it into the sink. The potatoes were worse.
Did someone spill the salt into these sides? Luckily I had a Pepperidge farms stuffing mix and instant potatoes that I made up with my company on the way. Never again. I served both stuffings and both potatoes, with fair warning.
It wasn't just me. The pre-made sides went right into the trash. What a shame. The rest went into the disposal.
What a waste of food and money. PLEASE PUBLIX, PLEASE get someone else to make your dinners next year. We won't buy it again.
In a pinch, I would buy a pre-cooked turkey breast and pick out some sides made by Hormell or similar near the meat department. Don't waste your money.
- I usually love publix

Preferred solution: Reimburse me for VERY salty stuffing, potatoes, and gravy, and soggy sour pie. The marshmallow salad was WAY too sweet. Who eats things that sweet anymore? The turkey and cranberry sauce were good !!
Store manager rude comment.

Wow I use to work with but not for publix being a chef I found that most but not all managers are scamming every person that walk throgh the door do the math can you divide 3 into$10.00 not in american money you cant nor 2 into $5.99 humm how about the 9 percent of all the change people down to nothing get ripped off of 9 percent where does that money go when cashiers at customers service rings $0.00 as he or she takes that cash humm nice people don't rob poor people so sure everyone is nice when they rob you blind in your face they don't rob you with a gun they just scam everyone because they think the public is dumb!! Humm
DO NOT WORK AT PUBLIX
When I was hired at Publix I was so excited. This ended real quick.
Six months later I could not put up with the *** anymore and left. The extent of the training I was given was computer based and taught me nothing about the job I would be doing and then I received no on the job training. The customers had to train me which was humiliating. When I would help a customer if I messed up my associates would watch me and then go to the manager and accuse me of giving away free food instead of telling me what I did wrong and trying to help me.
Right from the beginning I would be left up front in the deli with no other associates to ask questions of and customers are highly demanding at Publix. Apparently it was my job to make sure the full time people were up front helping me but I was not hired in a leadership position just a Deli Clerk. I was yelled at by random associates left and right for jobs I didn't know I was supposed to do because I hadn't been told to do them. The second week there, even though I have a clean criminal background and have been a keyholder at multiple businesses and never been fired, a customer service associate waited for me at the front after a long night and said he needed to search my bag......but nobody else's.
That ruined it for me. Employees will throw you under the bus, talk behind your back and spread rumors and lies. I had to put up with that in high school but this is life and I am over it. Don't work there it isn't worth it.
For that kind of abuse you might as well be a server and make real money. However if you are an *** and fake nice you might have a future there and I guess that wouldn't be that bad.
Preferred solution: Be better to your new employees
Dissapointed Publix Thanksgiving Dinner Review 2017
11/26/17 My mom ordered the Publix Thanksgiving Dinner service for 18 and it was Terrible! She is so embarrassed. The Turkey tasted very old!
The instructions said to just heat, but when she opened the package it was watery and not done! The dressing was inedible. So gross! Mushy & tasteless.
Stouffers instant would have been a better choice. It went in the garbage and she had to remake another recipe. The mashed potatoes were suppose to be Yukon Gold. But they were grainy, runny & lumpy.
They had to have been instant. The gravy tasted like it came from a can.
Of the whole meal the cranberries and the marshmallow fluff were the only edible items. DO NOT ORDER THIS FOR YOUR THANKSGIVING MEAL OR SPECIAL OCCASION!!!!!!!We are so upset!
- Very dissapointed in thanksgiving dinner
Preferred solution: Full refund
Publix is not a quality grocer anymore
I also more frequently than not get weevils in pasta purchased from publix. It doesn't seem to matter what brand pasta it is. I also inspect all of my dry goods immediately when I get home. I bought 4 boxes of linguini...one box was full of weevils, the other 3 were free of bugs....that is, until I went to use the other boxes a month later.
There must have been eggs in the boxes.
I also had an incident where I found glass in one of their deli subs. Took it back to the store and complained. Their resolution was to give me another free sub. Really?
I've been a Publix customer since the mid 1980's. No more. I'm done!

Sushi
Outstanding...will do it again and again and again
outstanding...will do again and again and again. the bag that left the negative obviously from her comment wanted a catered meal.
wake up woman and read the description of what you are getting. it was exactly as advertised. hour and a half to warm up a delicious turkey and everything else we micro waved. dressing and potatoes were excellent and the cranberry/orange thing was delightful with the dressing and gravey.
can't say enough how happy I am. and don't forget the marsmellow thing...killer.
had two full meals for 5 adults for 44 dollars. excellent quality and excellent price...cheers to you publix
- Always the best
Terrible Service
Refused to accept my check from a recent ly opened account, after they said it would be accepted. They blamed it on their check cashing service who have refused to explain and there is no way to contact anyone at their check cashing service to explain. Kroeger looks more appealing each day.

I hope publix stock keeps dropping in price, then all the cult members will start panicing.
They over work you with 30 hour a week work weeks hu? Sounds oh soo terrible..
Oh and you know this persons weekly schedule and that they are getting 30 hours a week? Nice try ***
Publix is sure not overpaying if this associate is working 30 hours a week, only the managers are overplayed and publix is overpriced, so where does that leave Publix associates? Overworked.
What does the combination of being overpriced and managers being overpayed do for Publix? Customers are starting to shop elsewhere and employees are leaving for jobs that pay better and not being overworked.way to go publix
Hows the turnover rate in the deli?
You got it right, not only is publix a cult, the company does not pay its fair share of taxes, they also donate to charities but not to help people in need like they say, but to get tax credits, if those tax credits were taken away, publix would not give the charities a penny. And you are right someone needs to sue publix big time
Oh and you have there tax documents to prove what you're saying is a valid response right? Not just *** you would spew out randomly correct?
You actually think that Publix donates the money out of the kindness of their heart, I doubt it.
